Roof & Terrace

When approaching the building from the road above, the garage roof is clearly visible. This has been constructed in three layers. The bottom layer is MDF flooring and over this there is a layer of corrugated, black, reverse-rolled color bond and finally, the glass layer to trap heat. The spaces between the MDF and the color bond form  air ducts, which is then sent through the building during winter.

The dome is made from reinforced concrete ribs, tiled top and bottom and rendered sides. It forms a pergola.
