Entry

The slab of stone in the entry is Boogardie (WA) Orbicular Granite. It is a spectacular piece 2.7 thousand million years old see the links -  earth museum

The inspiration for the gate came from one I saw in either Cambrige or Oxford, England (I can't remember which). It had a lens at the centre that captured the image of a building on its far side. Ken Jakobi worked for about two weeks over the summer holidays to roll and forge the steel into shape.
